By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

  • you are legally able to enter into these Terms
  • the information you provide to us is accurate
  • you will comply with these Terms and applicable law

2. The Service

Mirror Trip is a trip planning and travel memory platform. The Service allows users to:

  • create accounts and profiles
  • plan trips at a high level or in detail
  • add destinations, days, activities, notes, costs, travellers, and related trip information
  • upload photos and other content related to trips
  • maintain private trips and memories
  • publish completed or chosen trips for others to view within the Service
  • browse public trips, save trips to wishlists, and interact with public content
  • use optional location-based features for trip planning

We may add, modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also require updates to the app to continue using certain features.

3. Accounts and Access

You may need to create an account to access certain features.

You are responsible for:

  • maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • all activity that occurs under your account
  • notifying us promptly at support@mirrortrips.com if you believe your account has been compromised or used without authorization

Accounts are personal to you and may not be sold, transferred, or shared except as expressly permitted by us.

We may refuse registration, reclaim usernames, suspend access, or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, or our rights.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • violate any law, regulation, or third-party right
  • use the Service for fraud, deception, harassment, abuse, or unlawful activity
  • upload, publish, or share content you do not own or have the right to use
  • upload or publish content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
  • scrape, harvest, crawl, or extract data from the Service by automated means except as explicitly permitted by us
  • upload malware, malicious code, or harmful content
  • use the Service to spam, phish, or distribute unsolicited communications
  • abuse public publishing, reporting, wishlist, or account systems
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover source code or underlying components of the Service except where prohibited by law from restricting that right

5. User Content

"User Content" means content you submit, upload, store, publish, or otherwise make available through the Service, including trip details, notes, itinerary content, photos, profile information, usernames, and related materials.

You retain ownership of your User Content.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and for the consequences of posting, storing, or publishing it.

We may, but are not required to, monitor, review, screen, edit, or remove User Content. We do not guarantee that we review or pre-screen all User Content before it is stored, displayed, or published through the Service.

You represent and warrant that:

  • you own your User Content or have all rights, permissions, and consents necessary to use it and authorize us to use it under these Terms
  • your User Content does not violate law or infringe the rights of any person or entity
  • your User Content is not misleading, unlawful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable in a way that violates these Terms or applicable law

6. License You Grant to Mirror Trip

To operate the Service, you grant Mirror Trip a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt, format, transmit, display, and make available your User Content solely as needed to:

  • provide and operate the Service
  • store and back up content while your account is active or during applicable retention windows
  • display your private content to you
  • display published trip content to other users and guests of the Service
  • moderate, review, investigate, prevent abuse, and enforce our policies
  • improve, secure, and maintain the Service

For any trip or content you choose to publish publicly through the Service, you additionally grant Mirror Trip the right to display, distribute, and make that published content available to all users and guests of the Service as part of the public trip experience.

This license ends for content you delete or request deleted, except to the extent:

  • retention is reasonably necessary for legal, security, backup, abuse-prevention, or enforcement purposes
  • content remains in limited backup or system caches for a reasonable period
  • content was previously shared or interacted with in ways that require technical processing before removal completes

7. Public Trips and Visibility

Trips are private by default unless you choose to publish them.

If you publish a trip, you understand and agree that:

  • the content of that trip may become visible to other users and guests within the Service
  • other users may view, learn from, and interact with published trips through available app features
  • published content should not include confidential or sensitive information you do not want others to see

Public trips may include opinions, recommendations, routes, budgets, notes, photos, and other information created by users, not by Mirror Trip. We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, legality, quality, safety, or usefulness of public trip content.

You are responsible for what you choose to publish.

We may remove, hide, restrict, unpublish, disable access to, or investigate any published content at our discretion where reasonably necessary to:

  • enforce these Terms or other policies
  • comply with law or legal process
  • respond to complaints, reports, or safety concerns
  • protect users, the Service, or third parties

  • contains unauthorized personal information about another person
  • is defamatory, threatening, harassing, hateful, exploitative, or abusive
  • contains malware, malicious scripts, or harmful code
  • promotes illegal acts or dangerous conduct
  • is pornographic or sexually exploitative
  • is otherwise objectionable in a manner inconsistent with a travel planning and public-sharing platform

We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to review, filter, restrict, remove, or investigate content or accounts where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, address reports, or comply with legal obligations.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or depend on third-party services, including services for:

  • Google Sign-In
  • Sign in with Apple
  • maps, geocoding, places, and related location features
  • cloud hosting and storage
  • transactional email delivery
  • crash and error monitoring

Your use of third-party services may also be subject to those providers' own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for third-party services, content, or systems that we do not control.

10. App Store and Platform Terms

If you download or use the Service through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another app marketplace, you acknowledge that those marketplaces are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for providing the Service, maintenance, support, or handling claims relating to the Service, except as required by applicable law.

If you use the iOS version of the Service, you acknowledge that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms as they apply to your license to use the app, and that Apple has the right to enforce those terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

Your use of the Service must also comply with any applicable usage rules and platform terms imposed by the relevant app marketplace.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy:

https://mirrortrips.com/privacy.html

Please review it carefully to understand how we collect, use, and disclose information.

12. Account Deletion

You may request account deletion from within the app, subject to the current deletion flow described in our Privacy Policy and delete-account information page.

At present, deletion may involve:

  • immediate account suspension
  • hiding published content during the grace period
  • a 15-day grace period before permanent deletion
  • possible restoration requests through support during that grace period

More information is available at:

https://mirrortrips.com/delete-account

13. Service Availability, Data Storage, and Changes

We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

We may:

  • change features or functionality
  • impose limits on use
  • suspend or restrict access
  • remove or disable content
  • update these Terms and related policies

The Service is intended to help users organize trips and memories, but it is not a guaranteed archival or backup service. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important trip information, notes, and photos.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for outages, corrupted files, failed uploads, sync failures, delayed processing, or loss of User Content, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

14. Future Paid Features

The Service is currently offered free of charge.

We may introduce in the future:

  • paid features
  • subscriptions
  • one-time purchases
  • advertising
  • promotional or premium offerings

If we do, additional terms, pricing, billing disclosures, renewal rules, refund rules, and applicable Apple App Store or Google Play terms may apply.

15. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, text, graphics, logos, interfaces, and non-user content, is owned by or licensed to Mirror Trip and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except for the limited rights expressly granted to you under these Terms, we reserve all rights in and to the Service.

You may not use our name, logos, branding, or other proprietary materials except as permitted by us or by law.

16. Feedback

If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use, modify, implement, and incorporate that feedback without compensation or restriction.

17. Termination and Suspension

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service, remove content, or disable your account at any time if we reasonably believe:

  • you violated these Terms
  • your use poses a risk to users, third parties, or the Service
  • we are required to do so by law
  • continued access is not operationally or legally appropriate

If your account is suspended or terminated:

  • your right to access or use the Service may stop immediately
  • your User Content may become unavailable to you
  • your public trips may be hidden, unpublished, or removed
  • we may retain certain information as required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, or enforcement purposes
  • any licenses you granted to us that are necessary for retained or already-processed content will continue for the limited purposes described in these Terms

Termination does not limit any rights or remedies available to us under law or equity.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including sections relating to ownership, licenses, disclaimers, limitations of liability, governing law, and dispute resolution.

18. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mirror Trip disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, title, availability, accuracy, and quiet enjoyment.

Mirror Trip is not a travel agency, booking service, transportation provider, tour operator, insurer, visa service, or emergency service. The Service does not provide legal, medical, safety, immigration, or travel-advice guarantees.

We do not guarantee:

  • that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • that content will always be accurate, complete, or reliable
  • that trips, notes, recommendations, maps, routes, or public content are safe, correct, or suitable for your needs

  • the amount you paid us, if any, for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability, or
  • INR 5,000

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

20. Indemnity

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms expressly incorporated into them, form the entire agreement between you and Mirror Trip regarding the Service.
